Thank you. Just thank you. As of this moment, my blog has 1003 followers. 1003 people who have actually requested to be alerted when I write something. I know. It freaks me out as well.

1003, to be exact, well at least right now. Please, sir, can I have some more? I’m shameless.

I cannot begin to express how much this means to me. Fifteen months ago I started Capable Fitness as a way to cope with my cancer diagnosis. It has blossomed into so much more. If you hang around my joint, you know that you will find posts about life, cancer, fitness, and family. Some are rants, some are snarky, some are extremely personal.

I sincerely enjoy responding to every comment I get, whether it is right here on my blog, or if you choose to private message me or privately email me. Whether you agree with my point of view or not, the discussions and friendships I have made are a blessing and I’m grateful for it.

Soon I will be making an announcement about an exciting writing opportunity that has come my way. It might never have happened had I not sat down at my computer on November 13th, 2015 and written THIS.

Starting this blog has made me feel fearless and more willing to just take some risks. As it turns out, the risks are not scary. Not scary at all.
